Knife Party Announces Auckland Concert
Australian electronic duo Knife Party has announced an Auckland show on Tuesday 16th December.

Formed by Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen, two members of drum n bass group Pendulum, Knife Party's breakthrough came when they teamed up with Swedish House Mafia for the house/breakbeat track 'Antidote' followed by the viral blockbusters like 'Internet Friends', 'Bonfire' and 'LRAD'.

With support from influential BBC DJ Zane Lowe and over 72 million Soundcloud streams, there is huge hype and anticipation surrounding the release of their debut album Abandon Ship, which is due out October 27th.

For their Logan Campbell Centre concert, both the upstairs and downstairs areas will be open, allowing punters to move between seated and floor space.

The Perth duo premiered their 'Knife Party Presents: Haunted House' arena production at Future Music Festival earlier this year, and will be bringing an updated version of that stage set up with them on their album tour. Expect seizure-inducing lighting and hyperstimulating visuals projected on oversized screens behind the DJs.

Pre-sale tickets are now available, with general public sale starting at 12pm, Wednesday 15th October.
