Interislander Summer Festival

Interislander Summer Festival brings family fun to a range of sensational summer hotspots around the country from Boxing Day through until Waitangi Day. The events provide a great way to catch up with family and friends in a fun and relaxed environment. Picnics, deck chairs, shorts, jandals and chilly bins – it’s a classic Kiwi summer’s day out.

There’s something on-course for everyone to enjoy – kids will be spoilt for choice with all day entertainment and on-track events between races, leaving mum and dad free to kick back, enjoy live music and local food, and study the raceform.

If you don’t want to rush on the day, a picnic patch can be reserved in advance. Each event offers different options, ranging from reserved car parks and gazebo sites through to catered marquees for larger groups, leaving you free to get into the serious business of having fun.
