The Sports and Vintage Aviation Society museum is a living museum with aircraft restoration and flying of aircraft being the main aims. The public can fly in our aircraft by becoming a member of the society for an annual subscription of $50.00. We also house aviation memorabilia, books, etc and have a growing static display of models, engines and instruments. We cater for tour groups as well as individuals.
We currently have 4 airworthy aircraft, with 2 more under restoration as well as 4 other privately owned airworthy vintage aircrtaft on line. All our memorabilia is aviation orientated with an emphasis on the history of aviation in the Wairarapa in particular.
