The 2019 Martial Arts tournament is fast approaching. The tournament this year will see competitors competing over several categories to see who will be crowned champion for 2019. Our tournament is designed to test competitors physically and mentally.
The rigors of competition will test competitors courage, concentration, conditioning, competitive spirit, fitness, discipline, knowledge and ability to handle high pressure situations. Students will experience many emotions as they vie for success and ultimately, Gold.
The categories this year are Sanshou (sparring), Taolu (forms) both empty hand and weapon and Dapo (destruction) techniques.
The event this year is being held in the IPU Recreation Centre gymnasium. We look forward to seeing you there to cheer on the competitors!
