Join Shonaleigh Cumbers for a magical few days immersed in the life-affirming, wise world of traditional storytelling.
Shonaleigh brings a wealth of experience and wit to her tales, which have their origins in the ancient Jewish system of oral memorisation, visualisation and interpretation of tales. She will be teaching these techniques and more so that you develop a deeper understanding of how story works and how to use it to enrich your life. Set in the stunning and inspirational surroundings of Otaki Bush - this will be a treat for all the senses.
Writers and storytellers, however experienced (or not) are welcome, but the course is also aimed at anyone who makes use of narrative, including artists, teachers and community workers. The retreat runs for five days and the cost includes accommodation and delicious food. Be quick as places on the course are filling fast.
