We are welcoming a new and delicious series of blissful yin yoga classes to our space. Slow down, reflect, restore and find that inner space that is always within you. Our resident teacher Alicja will guide you through a nourishing yin flow enhanced by healing sounds from music therapist Claudio Escutia.
Yin Yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with asanas that are held for longer periods of time, stretching the connective tissue around our joints (mainly knees, pelvis, sacrum and spine). Yin Yoga is unique in that you are asked to relax in the posture, soften the muscle and move closer to the bone. While yang-like yoga practices are more superficial, Yin offers a much deeper access to the body. The time spent in these postures is much like time spent in meditation.
