Advanced Writing workshop: Building Theme into your Writing

Writing with a clear theme will strengthen your writing and ensure your story speaks to the reader. As fiction writers, we have the power to use our stories to make observations and comments about – and even to critique – our society. We will explore the kinds of messages that we each want to send to the world through our writing, and consider how we can use plot and language to bring out these messages.
