Auditions for Cast of Godspell

The famous rock-musical Godspell will be presented in the magnificent Napier Cathedral in late May 2020. This show has been universally popular since 1970, when it was first performed in America.

We are looking for ten actors who can sing, to play the characters in the show. Godspell is a re-telling of the Gospel of Matthew and the Passion of Christ, using parables, song, and dialogue to portray the events and philosophies of the Gospel in a contemporary, often funny, lively way.

Auditions will be held on Saturday afternoon, November 2nd in the Cathedral. Rehearsals will begin in late November, and the 3 performances are on March 29 - 31 in 2020.
