What do New Zealand champions of brass sound like? Come and find out!
Hear five regional and national brass champions perform the most fiendish of pieces!

Brass at its best can be showy, lyrical, sweet and dynamic – beautiful melodies and flying fingers!

Your performers in this concert are all brass champions at regional and national level. Instruments included will be cornet, tenor horn and euphonium, with piano accompaniment.

From well-known show pieces such as Pablo Sarasate’s Zigeunerweisen to the beautiful ballad from English composer John Golland. Prepare to be excited, wooed and uplifted on a Thursday lunchtime.
