Build an EVA Helmet

Fancy forging your own fantasy great helm, or slick superhero head gear? Come and join us to learn how to work with EVA foam.

If you’re new to this amazing material we’ll take you through the basics. If you’re looking to develop existing skills we have the expertise to show you new tricks and techniques. Our three‐day workshop will cover both the construction of your helmet as well as specialist texturing and painting techniques.

We will also talk through various other specialist materials used by professional props makers, studying examples of work by current Toi Whakaari students.
