Canterbury Mountain Bike Series

Bottle Lake will become a have of activity over this 3 race series which caters for everyone from Elite riders to beginners. Young and Old.

Complete all 3 Races to qualify for the series. Competitors will receive points for the first 10 places in each category that will go towards the Series winners in each category. This is both the Short and Long Courses.

Under 13 category will only race the Short Course - see Categories.

Competitors winning each category will be rewarded at each race and the first 3 places for the series.

Timeline:
Race Registration: 8:00am - 9:00am
Race Brief: 9:20am
Race Start: 9:30am - Long Course
Race Start: 9:35am - Short Course
Prize Giving: 10-15 minutes after the last competitor - estimated 11:30am

Points will be allocated as follows:
1st Place -10 Points
2nd Place - 9 Points
3rd Place - 8 Points
4th Place - 7 Points
5th Place - 6 Points
6th Place - 5 Points
7th Place - 4 Points
8th Place - 3 Points
9th Place - 2 Points
10th Place - 1 Point

These points will accumulate and the competitor which has competed in all 3 races with the most points will win the series in their category.

First placegetters will be rewarded at each race in their respective categories. First, Second and Third in the Series will be rewarded in their respected categories.

To received both category and spot prizes, competitors must be present at prize giving.

Late Entries will be taken on Race Day, a $10 late entry fee will apply.
