Everyone can contribute to science.

Get involved in Citizen Science Month – 28 July to 31 August! The results will help Pest Free Kaipātiki to track progress in restoring our local native bush and wildlife.

To launch Citizen Science Month and provide training, Pest Free Kaipātiki is hosting a large Family Fun Day on Sunday 28 July, 8.45am-4.30pm, at Kauri Park School, Beach Haven.

There will be information, education, refreshments and fun activities for the whole family.

We are pleased to announce that celebrity children's TV host Suzy Cato will be attending to give an opening speech on the delight of discovering about the world around us.

9.30am - Identifying and Recording Pest Plants
11.30am - Detecting Predators
1.30pm - Monitoring our Native Birds & Wildlife
2:15pm - Photographing the Urban Forest & Track Progress
3.00pm - Monitoring Stream Health
