Connect & Protect - A Fundraising Event for Shama Hamilton

Connect and Protect is a fundraising event based on empowering women & instilling confidence within women in both mental and physical aspects.

We are offering you an afternoon of wellness with a self defense class being taught first, followed by a selection of motivational speakers and then an opportunity to network over an afternoon tea grazing table. You’ll need to wear athletic gear for the self defence class (or anything comfy to move in) and bring a water bottle for yourself! And all this for $10!

With this event we are aiming to raise awareness for Shama, a charitable trust within Hamilton dedicated to helping ethnic women migrate into a multicultural community. Shama offers social work services, upskilling workshops and individual help to these ethnic women. By selling tickets we hope to fundraise money for Shama to use by continuing their amazing services to the Waikato Region and community.
