Creative Jazz Club: Phil Broadhurst "Positif" Album Launch

The Phil Broadhurst Quintet follow up their 2016 Jazz Album of the year, Panacea, with the album launch of Positif, their fourth recording for Rattle Records.

Entitled Positif it features some excellent new compositions expertly performed by Phil's five-piece ensemble with material drawn from the live concert sponsored by CJC earlier this year.

If you haven't heard them lately, now's your chance to hear some great playing and writing from Phil, Roger Manins, Mike Booth, Oli Holland and Cam Sangster. Expect a wide range of music, sometimes reflective, sometimes boldly adventurous, sometimes swinging, and always engaging.
