Dare to Devise

Dare to Devise is a 48 hour Drama Competition open to teams aged 14-18 years.

In the pressure cooker environment of just on weekend - teams must write, rehearse and perform an original 10 minute piece of theatre.

There isn't time to second guess, fuss over costume and set - it's raw and honest storytelling at its best! Often funny and always sleep deprived.

Join in at the end of the weekend to view this collection of short 10 minute plays and experience at drama first hand.

A panel of judges will award teams at the end, but you will get the opportunity to vote on your personal favourite for the audience choice award.

This competition is all about having fun, great performances and originality.
