This evening marks an historic occasion, the Dedication Ceremony of our new centre, across the hallway from our present one. The new centre is about twice the size of our current one and we have been able to decide the layout of rooms and their decor. Even though we still rent it, it does give the feel that this is our place designed the way we want.
The evening will begin at 6:45 with tea and cake. Then at 7:00pm we will move into the present shrineroom for the start of the dedication ceremony. This will be in the context of a sevenfold puja led by Achala, the founder of Wellington Buddhist Centre and will involve a procession through into the new space.
Please everyone come along, join in, and see the new centre.
