Gather the whole whānau and join us on the first Saturday of the school holidays for a Family Day inspired by light and the moving image works in Semiconductor: The Technological Sublime—an exhibition featuring the sun, the stars, and the earth’s core.
Ready, Steady, Glo - Reading Room
Build constructions that glow in the dark using hundreds of straws and connectors under black light. Make a solo arrangement or a giant sculpture with your friends and whānau.
Blacklight Blueprint - Education Studio
Make your own blueprint using light-sensitive paper and our UV lightbox. Share a photo of your creation on Instagram: #cgwfamilyday
Night Badges - Reading Room
Draw or collage a badge that glows in the dark inspired by stars, planets, the sun, comets, and the Milky Way.
