Featherston 1st Fridays: February Fiesta

Free music, art and fun, for everyone. Visiting the Wairarapa for the Martinborough Fair weekend? Stop in Featherston first!

This month, we present a colourful Latin fiesta, with Brazilian fusion sounds by Wellington's So Samba, and activities including gorgeous Mexican pinata and making a Carnaval or Frida Kahlo inspired headdress.

There'll be hammocks and grass to chill out, and plenty of space for dancin'. Free sizzle thanks to Erin at Property Brokers, and all manner of delicious Mexican/Spanish/South American foods from the JK food truck. ¡increíble!

Featherston First Fridays create an opportunity firstly for fun times together as a community, with music being key. Linking together creative events, social networking, and encouraging use and ownership of public spaces.
