Share the joy of music with free concerts in the streets, and other local venues during the fête (World Music Day). We have two days of musical acts at the Waikato Museum, line-up as follows:
Saturday 22 June:
11:00am - Anna Stonnell
11:30am - 'Arc en Ciel' (Burty and Peter)
12:00am - 'Arc en Ciel' (translates to 'Rainbow')
12:30pm - 'Blown Away' Recorders - Simon Eminson
1-2pm - Free
02:00pm - Tara: solo act with piano
02:30pm - 'World Voices' 25-30min
03:00pm - 'The Foggy Dew' Celtic duo Mike and Trisha
03:30pm - 'The Foggy Dew' continue
Sunday 23 June:
Midday - Marin Esteban French ambient guitarist
01:00pm - Paul Isaac + Cara Graham - piano and jazz singer
02:00pm - 'Jensen Quartet' Jazz
03:30pm - 'The Strumbles' Ukulele orchestra - Alice Bulmer
The fête has been organised by Gerry Clark with help from the Hamilton Blues Society and other local muzos, and is supported by the Alliance Française de Hamilton.
