Our lives can be so busy that we have little time to relax. Tension can lead to postural pain and stress, so this course will help you to discover your body’s natural ease. As you learn to move more freely, your thoughts become more spacious and you’ll experience an improved sense of well-being.
This course is an introduction to the Alexander Technique, a method that helps you rediscover the natural balance of your body so that you feel relaxed and aligned.
By the end of the course, you’ll be able to:
- Practise exercises to relieve pain and avoid injury
- Be more aware of how you move, sit and stand
- Improve your co-ordination and balance
- Find ease in the way you breathe and feel light and relaxed in daily activities
- Improve concentration levels
Bring a pen and notebook, a thick blanket or yoga mat and a few thin paperback books for relaxation exercises.
