Gloria Florence & Mark Laurent

Every now & then we get 'surprised by joy', as CS Lewis once said.

This time we're surprised by Gloria - Gloria Florence. Surprised by how she's apparently come from nowhere to work behind the counter at Cafe One2One, & then it turns out she has a marvelous voice & writes really good songs, as well as some very tasteful interpretations of Gram Parsons & others. It just seemed wrong not to invite her to do a guest spot.

Mark will play an opening set, & probably join Gloria for a few of hers & finish off the evening. There's no charge for entry and the koha teapot will be on the bar for you to put your contributions for the musicians.

Come & hear Gloria - she'll be a revelation.
