This event is part of Conservation week 2019!

And it's the last Greening Taupō community planting day of the season.
You can not miss this one.

Greening Taupō, Taupō District Council and the Department of Conservation are calling out to the everyone to come on down to plant some native plants and help restore Hipapatua Reserve alongside the Waikato River.

What a great opportunity to come on down with the family and friends and familiarise yourselves with all what's being going on down at Hipapatua Recreation Reserve previously known as Reids farm.

Please be prepared for either rain or shine, wear your gardening gloves bring a spade, we do have some to share, it could be a bit wet under foot so make sure everyone has their gumboots and enjoy a morning out at one of Taupō's special places.

A sausage sizzle brought to you by Hilton Lake Taupo and refreshments will be provided after the planting.

Proudly brought to you by:
- Greening Taupō
- Project Tongariro

Also thanks to:
- More fm
- Quality print
- Treeline nursery

Greening Taupo's vision is to work with businesses, organisations, schools and the community to improve and restore the Taupo environment for people and the native wildlife.
