All the way from Hungary – the winners of the popular and prestigious Hungarian folk music and dance talent contest, Felszallott a Pava. Here, in Christchurch for one night only.

There will be three professional folk dancers (Istvan Berecz, Matyas Fodor and Kristof Fundak) and two musicians (Zsombor Balint and Adam Kiss-Balbinat) coming to NZ from Hungary to take part in the series of remembrance and festivities organised by the Hungarian communities to commemorate the October 1956 Hungarian Revolution.

A great chance to see top quality, genuine Hungarian culture. This event is sponsored by the Hungarian Embassy and the Christchurch Hungarian Club. The Hungarian Club are also putting on a pot luck dinner afterwards in the Hungarian Club hall in New Brighton. A chance to meet and talk with the artists.

The show will be at 6-7pm on Saturday, 9th November in the Haeata Community Campus Auditorium (240 Breezes Rd, Aranui, Christchurch).

Music is universal – all welcome.

Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for children aged 5-15 years (children under 5 are free). You can buy them in advance from Gyöngyi - 021 0246 5949 or by writing to chch.hunklub@gmail.com.
