It's 21 years since Lake Opuha was created with the construction of the Opuha Dam and this is a family fun day to celebrate and showcase the Lake to the South Canterbury Community.
It's at the Picnic & Camping Area off Bennetts Road and will be signposted from Fairlie. There will be a wide range of free fun games, activities, food and live music and entertainment . The super talented Drama Queens will be on stage along with Sport Suzi.
Giant Jenga and Giant Connect 4, Face Painting Artist, Circo-Magic Show, Roving Clown/Balloon artist.
Exhibition of photographs of Lake Opuha and the Dam and bus tours to the Dam.
