L'Dor Va Dor: Artist's Talk - Helene Carroll

Wairarapa-based artist Helene Carroll talks about her life and her art.

Helene Carroll nee Band was born in Paris in 1947, the only daughter of two Polish/Jewish Holocaust survivors. She moved to New Zealand in 1949 with her parents and Grandfather. She has spent most of her adult life trying to make sense of her parent's experiences of the Shoah.
