ABOUT BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS WELLINGTON

BBBS matches children and young people aged 6 to 12 with mentors in professionally supported one-to-one relationships. BBBS is currently in 13 locations around New Zealand, and helps more than 700 young people each year to reach their potential through professionally supported, mentoring relationships.

Partnering with whānau, schools, businesses and others in the community, BBBS carefully pairs children and young people (aged 6-12 years) with screened, trained volunteer mentors and monitors and supports the matches throughout their course. Until now, we haven't had a Wellington branch, so we are keen to raise as much money as we can to hit the ground running, train our mentors and make some incredible matches.
