Māori Moving Image: An Open Archive explores the histories of Māori artist moving image from the 1970s to today.

The exhibition is structured as an open archive, tracking a legacy of Māori moving image and inviting conversations and connections between practitioners. Works by significant artists will feature alongside a dedicated research space for facilitated discussion between artists, writers, academics, students and the public. Over the duration of the exhibition the public programme will gather and record a wide range of perspectives around moving image practices, contributing to scholarship and generating a resource for the future.

Co-curated by Bridget Reweti and Melanie Oliver.
