The project is based off a recent Masters of Architecture Thesis project that explored the possibility of creating as series of spaces that celebrate and acknowledge Matariki on Great Barrier Island following its recent designation as a dark sky sanctuary.
The project consists of conceptual architectural models and drawings that explored Matariki mythology, rituals and history in a contemporary setting.
