To coincide with the launch of Rail safety week (12 - 18 Aug) a KiwiRail locomotive engineer will visit the railway with his model Thomas the Tank Engine lay out.

It will be set up inside our Victoria Esplanade station to view, and you can talk to the train driver about his experiences of train driving.

The Esplanade Scenic Railway trains will also be running, and tickets are $3 each.
