Movement Workshop with Jack Gray of Atamira Dance Company

Take part in a free hour-long dance class with Jack Gray, Artistic Director of leading Māori contemporary dance company Atamira. All levels of dance experience welcome.

Learn a series of dance movements that everyone can try out!
Set to upbeat music, with lots of encouragement, this workshop is fun for all the whānau.

Co-developed with Te Papa in relationship with the themes in the Te Taiao Nature exhibition.

This workshop is presented in conjunction with Atamira’s performance of Onepū – a dance theatre work by Louise Potiki Bryant.

Entrance is free. No dance training required. Wear comfortable clothing you can move, dance, stretch, and have fun in.
