Music Soup With Ashton Sellars and Friends

Ashton Sellars is Musician/guitarist from Wellington, Aotearoa, New Zealand. He has spent the last year and a half studying towards a Masters in Music at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.

He has played alongside with musicians such as Ambrose Akinmusire, Peter Bernstein, Bruce Forman, and many more.

Currently Ashton is apart of the Deva Mahal group and has been touring all over Europe playing stages and festivals such as, London jazz fest, Jazz Dock, le duc des lombards, Tsf jazz radio event, Radio Nova and many more. He is also a band leader of his own trio and quartet which play semi regularly around Amsterdam.

As well as being a active performing musician he has also has recorded with artists such as Estere, Brockaflower, Sorceress, Vanessa Stacey, Twin Pigeon, Lucas Martinez, Giovanni Cigui, Giuseppe Campisi and many more.
