Natural Born Storytellers is a fun, supportive and welcoming space for anyone – and that means absolutely anyone, no experience needed – to tell true stories.

They may be funny, sad, touching or terrible. People want to hear from you! Each night is themed with prepared storytellers, combined with stories from the audience.

April's theme is 'Magical Moments'. Bring us tales about togetherness, whānau and community; special moments of connection or oneness with nature; uncanny moments of synchronicity and luck. Perhaps there was a fateful moment when your life changed forever...

We are inviting tales of the heart and spirit. Moments that made us laugh (usually at ourselves), moments of surprise and dreams fulfilled; moments of clarity, moments of strength...

All tellers and listeners welcome, regardless of experience. If you’d like to tell a story, get in touch soon as slots fill up. If this is your first time and you'd like a bit of coaching - we are happy to help.

Contact us at thestorycollectivechch@gmail.com or phone Sharon on mob 022-121-3648; tel 03 9677-8888.

We also need people to help organise, publicise and run this popular community-focused project, so if you love what we do and would like to get involved - sing out!

There is no age limit, but please note that these evenings are for adults who may tell stories that include adult themes. Therefore we advise parents to use their own discretion as to whether to bring their children.
