Christopher’s Classics are happily joining CMNZ 2019 Regional Tour presentation of the NZSQ, thank you Chamber Music New Zealand.

\PROGRAMME:
Beethoven ~ String Quartet in A Major, op. 18, no. 5;
Jack Body ~ 1 or 2 pieces including Bouyi;
Shostakovich ~ String Quartet No. 10 in A-flat Major;
Brahms ~ String Quartet in a minor, op. 51, No.2

Few are not familiar with the New Zealand String Quartet (NZSQ). For most of Christopher’s Classics 24 years of existence the NZSQ has been one of our series cornerstones. Nationally they have been New Zealand’s leading professional string quartet, playing hundreds of concerts here and overseas, teaching several generations of players and building up an impressive collection of albums.
Offering a programme of composers who have excelled in this genre, which is the bedrock of Chamber Music.
