Purely Chinese - War and Peace Concert Series (1)

A lineup of professional musicians of traditional Chinese instruments and craftsmen currently residing in Auckland and Hamilton will perform their arts and music onstage as part of the War and Peace Arts and Music Festival 23-31 May 2019.

Chinese instruments include Erhu (played by Jiang Hong), Pipa (played by Marjorie Hsu), Guzhen (performer to be confirmed), Dizi, Suona (both played by Tian Zuoquan), Hulusi (made of Gourd, played by Tina Zhao) and a folksong (sung by Lily Jin and friend) will be presented in traditional and more modern rendition.
