Come and see what we're all about.

A Day trip to the REACT base in Rangiwahia, with bus from Palmerston North leaving at 10 am from outside i-site in the Square, returning around 4:30 pm.

Guests will learn how coppicing is a sustainable form of harvesting and see first hand how it is a renewable resource.

We will introduce you to how we grow our own resources such as the willow we use for lanterns and sculptures and spend time harvesting the willow that we will use for next years projects. Please bring gardening gloves and secateurs if you have them.

We will also do a short bushwalk in one of the neighbouring reserves (weather permitting) for those who wish to get into the bush.

We hope this will be an enjoyable and educational day out in the countryside where visitors will gain further understanding of what we do, how and why we do it.

Seats on the bus must be booked through Eventfinda.
No charge but please bring your own packed lunch.
Please wear comfortable and warm clothes including hats and gloves, as you are coming to 600m above sea level.
Please bring a raincoat 'just in case'.
Tea & coffee will be provided.

The bus will depart Palmerston North from directly in front of i-site in the Square at 10 am so please be a little early. Pick up also available in Feilding opposite Train Station if we know it's required.

Made possible thanks to Bus funding by PNCET.
