The First Light Wine & Food Festival is Gisborne's pre-eminent wine and food event.
Join us from 12pm to 7pm to enjoy some of Gisborne's best food and wine producers.
Feel like a gorgeous weekend away in Gisborne and an opportunity to experience one of New Zealand's oldest and most iconic events - The Gisborne Wine & Food Festival. The 2024 event features two beautiful locations to visit - TW Wines and Matawhero Wines.
Both venues will host a selection of great foodies. They will also be offering a selection of their beautiful wines including chardonnay, rose, chardonnay viognier, merlot, malbec and many more that reflect the incredible flavours of the Gisborne terroir.
Each venue has fantastic bands playing throughout the day. You can use the complimentary bus system between town and the venues, as well as between the venues. This is included in the ticket price.
The bus service will pick you up from outside the Gisborne i-Site out to either venue, provide transport between venues between 11.30am-2.30pm and then return you back to central Gisborne at the end of your day.
