Reopening Zone Bowling/Timezone Entertainment Centre

Good news for tenpin bowling and family entertainment fans as the dual-activity Timezone and Zone Bowling has launched in Garden City, Christchurch.

Most recently known as Xtreme Entertainment, referred to by most Christchurch locals as Garden City Bowl, the popular venue has undergone an extensive renovation to re-open in mid-July as a state-of-the-art family-friendly entertainment centre.

Zone Bowling Garden City Christchurch features 18 bowling lanes, 60 arcade games, and a next-level laser tag arena. With its Aztec theme, the arena was designed by Andrew J Bourke to deliver an action-filled, adrenaline-pumping playing experience. Delicious food including burgers, sliders, hot dogs and more, along with a range of beverages, will also be on offer.

The new venue uses the ‘Swipe-Play-Win’ Timezone Powercard system to track and store credit and reward points as they accumulate. All existing Powercards are usable.

To celebrate the launch, the venue will host an Official Launch Weekend from Friday 19 until Sunday 21 July, with special discounts and giveaways.
