Rotorua Branch Music Cushion Concert

The Registered Music Teachers of Rotorua present their second cushion concert for the year. This comprises of children from age 6 through teens performing one item on their chosen instrument. There will be items on piano, violin and guitar plus singers and other instruments. There may also be duets.

The programme will consist of pieces from a variety of genres including Baroque, Classical, Romantic, 20th Century, Jazz and Musical Theatre. The performers will range from beginners to advanced players.

This gives the children an opportunity to show off their skills to an audience and as a practice in a formal situation in preparation for exams and competitions.

For a small fee the audience will be well entertained and astounded at the talent on show.
