Lesley Wilson, sand artist and member of the Muriwai Art Open Studio (MAOS) collective is delighted to share her skills building large sand castles, sculptures and creating sand art drawings at Muriwai Beach, just 30 minutes north west of Auckland.
Recently back from San Diego to compete in the Masters section of the Imperial Beach Sun and Sea Festival, Lesley will be running two interactive sand art sessions suitable for all ages on Muriwai beaches. Carefully timed to suit the tides, these will be fun, creative and inspiring.
Meet at the Muriwai Open Studio blue and black flags. Bring a bucket and/or rake.
