School Holiday Events

Journey to the library and explore your wildest imagination these school holidays! Events are aimed at school-aged tamariki and their whānau unless otherwise specified.

Tuesday 1 October, 10:30am
Imagine your garden, watch it grow! Create your own wildflower Paper Mache seed shape to plant at home! Ages 5+

Wednesday 2 October, 2pm
Chill out with a half-hour of stories in the library then grab some books to take home! All Ages.

Thursday 3 October, 3:45pm-5pm
Have a go with our awesome selection of tabletop games, or bring your own! Ages 10+.

Tuesday 8 October, 10:30am
Meet local Eastbourne author Anne Manchester and hear some delightful tales of Andrew the pampered Pekinese as he journeys from Palm Springs in the U.S.A. to New Zealand, with mishaps and adventures along the way. We’ll finish up with a fabulous craft designed by illustrator Fifi Colston! Ages 5+

Wednesday 9 October, 2pm
Chill out with a half-hour of stories in the library then grab some books to take home! All Ages.

Bricks & Pieces - Get creative and make amazing LEGO® builds at the library!
