Hear all about 30 years of research on the grey-faced petrels surviving on the islands and headlands of the West Coast near Bethells. Graeme Taylor, DOC’s petrel expert, who also identified petrel colonies on Puponga Point in 1998, will explain the findings of his research at a special talk organized by Seaweek and the Cornwallis Petrelheads.
James Russell of Auckland University will talk about recently established burrows on the northern Manukau Harbour Foreshore and his plans for volunteer coordination in our community.
