Senior Lifestyle Interest Group: CANCELLED

Come for an opportunity to meet up socially with others; mainly for older people in preparation for retirement or those adjusting to retirement and wanting ideas and information. No charge - but koha to help with resources would be appreciated.

There will be spot prizes, quizzes, speakers, discussions as well as opportunites for you to suggest what information would be helpful. The friendly atmosphere at The Railway Station Cafe & Restaurant allows you to enjoy the surroundings and order what ever refreshments that suit you, in fact come earlier with friends and have a coffee and muffin before the interest group starts at 4pm.

Not a workshop, not education as in 'teaching' but more discovering information through discussion, resources and inviting the right people along to speak with us.

Your involvement is determined by you, sit quietly and listen or be part of leading discussion. This event will be semi-structured and is aimed at helping participants to access the information they need, to make connections with others and leave feeling inspired!
