Celebrating its 160th anniversary the Band has claims to being the oldest brass band in New Zealand – able to trace continual lineage since its foundation in 1859.

Thrilled to be performing in the Pacific Crystal Palace, many of the band members have represented New Zealand in both National and National Youth Bands.
