We are having a special June Sustainable Market in the build up to Plastic Free July as we are hosting The Rubbish Trip, who will share lots of tips about reducing your household rubbish!

If you haven't already visited the Sustainable Papakura Market, now is the time to come along for a great day out to see The Rubbish Trip workshop as well as an amazing array of gifts. Sustainable products, crafts, jewellery, art, plants, assorted jams and chutneys, knitted wear and other goods for sale at the market. NB. Cash only.

Check out our Sustainable Living Skills Workshop, we will be having a beeswax workshop, as well as information about how to reduce your waste, recycling and live more sustainably. NB. There is a small charge for workshop activities.

Sustainable Papakura Recycling Collection Point - The following items can be dropped off at our stall: Reading glasses, small e-waste, used toothpaste tubes and toothbrushes, wine bottle lids, clean and coffee pods. Batteries can still be dropped off for a gold donation, we have had to apply this fee to dispose of the batteries correctly.

NB. These items are collected on behalf of other organisations. They can also be dropped off at The Corner from Tuesday to Friday, 12nn to 7pm and weekends, 10am to 7pm.

Enjoy the atmosphere of the market, the presentation by The Rubbish Trip, our beeswax wraps workshop, shop at our sustainable market stalls then have a relax at the Twilight Cafe... you can bring your own keep cup too! Remember to make a pledge on our special pledge board!
