Explore fairylight walkways drawing inspiration from the nine stars of Matariki to celebrate the harvest, give thanks for our kai, remember loved ones and make a special wish.

Children will love the lit up island and interactive fun light stations!

Write a message of love or a ‘wish’ onto a water lantern and launch onto the ‘Lake of Remembrance’

Don’t forget a gold coin for a night-time fun ride on the train. Proceeds to volunteer-run Masterton Minature Railway Society.

Tīrama Matariki means twinkling stars of Matariki.

Funded by Ngāti Kahungunu Iwi Inc and Te Puni Kokiri with support from Kahungunu ki Wairarapa and Masterton District Council.
