Te Atatu Harbourview Planting

Help our local fernbirds and banded rails by planting their favourite native coastal shrubs to restore the estuarine saltmarsh wetland habitat at Harbourview-Orangihina Park, Te Atatu.

Meet at the beach carpark end of Harbour View Road, Te Atatu Peninsula (turn right at the Library roundabout), for community tree planting, tea and biscuits for your efforts. Children welcome, must be supervised by parents or guardians. Bring sturdy shoes or gumboots, gardening gloves and lots of enthusiasm!
