Harbourview Fernbird Flats Project.

Help our local fernbirds and banded rails by planting their favourite native coastal shrubs to restore the estuarine saltmarsh wetland habitat at Harbourview-Orangihina Park, Te Atatu. To volunteer please email: harbourviewpark@gmail.com

When & What: Saturday 03 August 10am-midday, meet at the carpark opposite Gloria Ave roundabout, Te Atatu Peninsula (turn right at the first roundabout past Z station), for community tree planting, tea and biscuits for your efforts. Children welcome, must be supervised by parents or guardians.

What to bring: Sturdy shoes or gumboots, gloves, raincoat and lots of enthusiasm!
