Chardonnay will be the star of this soiree amongst the vines, as we sip and sample Gisborne’s finest classic Chardonnays under the big top. A glittering array of sumptuous food such as an oyster bar, will be served to match your desired chardonnay as you enjoy the cool sounds of Ben Wilkinson and Spaghetti Toast.

To celebrate International Chardonnay Day, The Gisborne Classic Chardonnay Group, a group formed to promote classic oak barrel fermented and aged Chardonnay, has chosen to host an annual weekend of events (always commencing with International Chardonnay Day) celebrating all things Chardonnay for Gisborne and our visitors.
