The Great Whangaroa Kiwi Can Raft Race

The Great Whangaroa Raft race event is a community event designed to reinforce our Kiwi Can values whilst generating community spirit in the Whangaroa and wider region.

After all, there is nothing more fun than a raft race, some war paint, team chants and team camaraderie to get the fun started. The event has two raft race divisions with an interschool rafting challenge (free for schools and homeschool groups) and an open division ($30 per raft entry fee) for any families, clubs, businesses and organisations to enter a team.

This event will not only be a fun team building day for organisations but will also help raise profiles and awareness in our community.

Prizes on the day will be awarded to best team spirit, most creative/innovative raft and first, second & third across the line for open and school division. Entry in the Open division is $30 per team.
