This is one of Tamil's ancient folk art, a art of story telling. poetry, drama, music and dance mixed in this art.

This art becoming rarity in Tamil Nadu itself. Generation after generation still our Fiji Tamil origins are still practising and performing this art. "Tamil Society of Waikato", "Lyca TV" and "Waikato Therukoothu & Cultural Group" proudly presenting the "Aravalli Sooravalli" story in the form of 'Therukoothu' on March 16th at 6 PM at Sacred Heart Girls College.

We request all to support our intiative to take this art to our younger generations. Free entry to the event. For food $10 per person. Also we request you to book in advance.
